Professional Negligence

HMA LAW handles all aspects of solicitors negligence and other professional negligence claims against surveyors, accountants, brokers and architects, together with general insurance matters including policy and coverage disputes.

Professional & Disciplinary

We act for solicitors who are subject to investigations by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and to applications before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal (SDT). We also act for the SRA in disciplinary proceedings against solicitors at the SDT. Any solicitor who is the subject of investigation can seek assistance, initially at no cost, from the principal, who is a member of the Solicitors Assistance Scheme. We act for a number of law firms nationwide. We are also experienced in acting for other professionals who are being investigated before their regulatory body.

Commercial Disputes

We handle disputes on contractual matters, employment, commercial debt and partnership disputes.

Mediation

Mediation is increasingly popular with clients who require quick, cost-effective and practical solutions to business disputes and is often ordered by the Courts. This firm is very experienced in acting on mediations and can advise and represent clients involved in this process.
